The Tiring Journey to the Scrambled Egg

In human history, the taming of fire was a moment of galactic proportions. The monkey became powerful, the Lion was screwed, and sheep were born everywhere all of a sudden, out of thunder. The usual slapping, punching, kicking and nose picking had suddenly given way to the instant power of a cold morning coffee: the monkeys could now burn down the entire jungle. They could now rest, stick their fingers in each other’s asses and laugh for no reason. No effort needed. Slacking off (rubbing the mint) has become a hobby of sorts. Like playing Golf.

Monkeys of Ceausescu, Trump or Putin calibre were popping up everywhere like fungi after a cold rain, while the sheep were condemned to perpetual introversion, able only to bite leftover clumps of grass and a few bugs when lucky. A generalized philosophy was born. Medicine and car engine engineering became genetic memory. So did “My fire is bigger than yours.” Tiny dicks made hippopotamus shy. Their dream of one day domesticating tigers was cut short. The world as they knew it was gone. Overnight.

Trading the world order for the power of fire seemed worthy. Few, however, realized that the ability to run—a proven survival skill—was fading. A few thousand years have passed, and we’re still trying to figure out how not to completely burn each other.

Like fire, the advent of AI happened with a thunderclap. Way, way ahead of its time. Living under the curse of the hippopotamus, we no longer have the skill or the ability to run. After the destruction of the family, the compartmentalization of monkeys’ frustrations, and the rise of the misunderstood feminism that collapses when told to go grab a bucket of coal from deep down in the mine for an evening BBQ, we finally did it! We all have a prosthetic brain! It seems that we were all raped while sleeping.

Is Geoffrey Hinton, the “Godfather of AI”, the tetration of Oppenheimer? Only time will tell…

Welcome to ‘the brave new world’. Reloaded. Are we going to survive it? Relax! Sure… Most of us no longer know how to make a fire.

Bon appétit!

We are all queens now.
